Olympic gold medal figure skater Tara Lipinski has joined the cast of Legend Family Films/Workshop Pictures' indie feature "The Metro Chase" for director Dennis Lavalle. The family comedy is about an 8-year-old American boy who is separated from his 18-year-old sister as they arrive in Paris for a family vacation. Lipinski will play Natalie, an American studying in Paris who helps the sister find the boy.

Lipinski, repped by Agency for the Performing Arts' Paul Santana and manager Karen Randall at Studio 52, will next appear in Cameron Crowe's feature "Vanilla Sky." Her acting credits include a recurring role on the daytime drama "The Young & the Restless," Fox Family Channel's "Ice Angel" and a guest- starring role on Nickelodeon's "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"

Mika Boorem ("Along Came a Spider") has been added to the cast of the Miramax feature "Carolina" for director Marleen Gorris. She'll play the outgoing half-sister to Julia Stiles' character.
Newcomers Dwight Armstrong and Josh Waters also have been added to the cast.
Boorem, repped by Innovative Artists and Gilbertson-Kincaid, will next been seen in Castle Rock Entertainment's "Hearts in Atlantis" with Anthony Hopkins and Columbia Pictures' "Riding in Cars With Boys" for director Penny Marshall. Credits include "The Patriot" and "Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her."

Armstrong is repped by Monster Management's Brooke Bundy. Waters is repped by Innovative and National Artists' Gavin Navarro.

Production has wrapped on the indie comedy "The Groomsmen" from writer Lawrence Gay, who makes his directorial debut on the project.

The film stars Christopher Wiehl as a young man who attempts to have his first one-night stand at friend's wedding and discovers that the bride-to-be (Lisa Brenner) is his long-lost love. Neal Nordlinger produced the feature, with Arrien Schiltkamp executive producing.

Gay, repped by Infinity Management's Jon Karas, wrote "Houseguest" and was a writer on the television series "Ferris Bueller."

Frances Fisher ("Titanic") has been added to the cast of the indie feature "The Blue Car" for first-time director Karen Moncrieff, who also wrote the script. She plays Delia, the wife of an English teacher (David Strathairn) in the midst of a midlife crisis.

Williamson, repped by Innovative Artists and manager Tammy Rosen at Melanie Greene Management, will next be seen in Kevin Williamson's upcoming WB Network television series "Glory Days."

Visionbox Pictures has wrapped production on the feature films "Voyeur" from writer-director Norman Ollestad and "Charlotte Sometimes" from writer- director Eric Byler. Visionbox CEO John Manulis and company co-founded Michael Kastenbaum executive produced the projects.

"Voyeur" is a cat-and-mouse thriller about a young woman's (Courtney Cole) sexual awakening and self-discovery. "Charlotte" is a drama exploring how Asian Americans deal with relationships and sex that stars Michael Idemoto and Eugenia Yuan.

Visionbox next produces the feature films "Tortilla Soup" starring Hector Elizondo and Raquel Welch and "Teddy Bears' Picnic" from writer-director Harry Shearer, who also stars in the film.
